Now I'm getting error msg's on all the songs I have moved. When I plug in the portable hard drive it says it is drive G: probably because that's the USB port I use for it. C: and D: both of which virtual dj recognises. I have recently transferred all my songs to a portable hard drive because my laptop memory was pretty close to full and slowing my computer. Next plug it into your backup machine and you should see everything, all tracks, cue points, keys, etc, etc. As a test, plug in a thumb drive and load it up with tracks through VDJ. Choose MS DOS (FAT) for the Volume Format and click on the Erase button. If he in fact is using VDJ then yes, it will actually be plug and play. On Mac, go to Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility and click on the external drive. Choose either exFAT or FAT32 for the File system and then click Start.
